Laboratory of Pharmacological Regulation of Alcohol and Drug Addiction

The Lab was founded in 2010 on the basis of Laboratory of Search and Study of Remedies for Narcomania Prevention and Treatment
Êîëèê Ë.Ã.
It is headed by Larisa G. Kolik, PhD
Tel.: (495) 601-22-38

Major lines of scientific research:

  • Design and validation of novel experimental approaches for study the effects of bioactive substances on the development of alcohol and drug dependence.
  • Preclinical evaluation of the effectiveness of remedies for pharmacotherapy of alcohol and drug addiction with a glance on genetically determined sensitivity to psychoactive drugs.
  • Study of neurobiological mechanisms of novel compounds for alcohol and drug addiction treatment using behavioral, neurochemical, EEG and microiontophoresis techniques.
