Major lines of scientific research:
- Design and validation of novel experimental approaches for study the effects of bioactive substances on the development of alcohol and drug dependence.
- Preclinical evaluation of the effectiveness of remedies for pharmacotherapy of alcohol and drug addiction with a glance on genetically determined sensitivity to psychoactive drugs.
- Study of neurobiological mechanisms of novel compounds for alcohol and drug addiction treatment using behavioral, neurochemical, EEG and microiontophoresis techniques.
